Islands! They are for residential use only, and
provides you with the privacy we all wish for in our SL
home.
What is a Homestead Island? A homestead has the
same land mass as a full prim sim, but only 1/4 of the prims.
4 homesteads share 1 CPU, which basically means, one brain
controls 4 sims. They are not as powerful as a full
prim sim, hence why we limit them to residential only. |

At Peace Haven communities, we only rent islands.
Unfortunately there are many land barons that lead
residents into thinking they are buying islands, when in
fact, you can only buy from Linden Labs. There are many
good and reputable companies that do re-sell island
properties (that they hold the "deed" to), but also a
fair share of dishonest Island re-sellers who will take
advantage of you.
You can safely rent an island from Peace Haven
Communities, by the week, without the initial out of
pocket expense that comes with buying an Island outright
then paying tier to Linden Labs, or the expense and risk
"buying" from another Island re-seller. |
